Tax File Number disclaimer:
You are not obliged to provide your Tax File Number (TFN) to CareSuper, however if you do, we will use it:
• To conduct a lost super search to help you locate any additional super you may have. The search is conducted through the Australian Taxation Office's Lost Members Register and utilises your name, date of birth and TFN
• On the CareSuper Transfer your super form if you decide to consolidate into CareSuper.
NB: CareSuper is authorised to collect your TFN under the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act 1993. We will treat it as confidential and only use it for lawful purposes. This includes disclosing it to another superannuation fund when we're arranging a transfer of funds for you. However, you may request in writing that your TFN not be disclosed to any other trustee.
Would you like to roll these or any other super into your CareSuper account?
Congratulations. We found no lost super accounts based on the details you entered.
Would you like to roll any other super into your CareSuper account?
That's ok. Just be mindful that you may be paying duplicate fees and insurance premiums which deplete your super savings.
You should also consider making contact with those funds as they had reported your account as lost.
